This is one of the most special guitars we've ever had from the Martin Custom Shop: it was specially designed by Chris Martin IV and Martin artist Craig Thatcher for their tour series. The duo brings the magic of Martin Guitar history to life with Chris' stories of his family's illustrious business, enhanced by Craig's wonderful playing to demo each of the treasures they bring from the factory in Nazareth, PA.
Built using premium tonewoods, this small-bodied guitar punches well above its size. An Adirondack spruce top is paired with a mahogany back and sides in a compact 00 body size. With a 12-fret slope shoulder design and a slotted headstock, this model is heavily inspired by the great Martins of yesteryear, making it the perfect choice for Chris and Craig to highlight what makes Martin guitars so great! This guitar plays beautifully and sounds amazing too. A delightful little Martin that's easy to love and has an amazing story, too!
