D'Aquisto 1992 Solo 18", Owned by Scott Chinery SN: #1238 / 1 of 2
James D'Aquisto is one of the most important luthiers in the history of archtop guitars and this Solo non-cutaway model is an especially exceptional example of D'Aquisto's impeccable attention to detail. This particular guitar was owned by the late legendary collector and enthusiast, Scott Chinery, who owned a variety of D'Aquisto's guitars. When describing this guitar he said:
"This is not only my favorite D'Aquisto but my favorite guitar in the entire world. People play it and then look inside because what they're hearing doesn't make sense. I played it for ten hours straight as soon as I got it, and only stopped because my fingers were bleeding. So I went to bed, but I woke at three in the morning and had to go play it some more. This guitar is always calling out to me." - Scott Chinery
This guitar has been thoroughly checked over and fully set up by our in-house luthiers and is guaranteed to be an endless source of inspiration!
