McAlister guitars are handbuilt by Roy McAlister, who once worked at Santa Cruz and honed his skills before going off on his own to build guitars by himself. These guitars are built exceptionally well and built to the highest level of craftsmanship. This L-00 style has a great medium C style neck which is not too chunky and not too slim. It features the best tonewoods available of old growth Adirondak spruce and Cuban Mahogany back and sides. The saddle height is optimal and the neck angle and action are perfect.
