An early fifties Gibson acoustic is a joy to get to play, and these smaller bodied LG bodies show why. This '52 LG-1 has a great sound, it has that mahogany and maple snap to it, great for blues style and singer-songwriter style. The ladder braced LG-1 is a nice, uncomplicated acoustic tone that won’t overpower any mix, great for recording. This example is largely original, with replaced plastic tuner tips, reglued bridge and replaced pins. Serial #974823, comes with the original chipboard case.
