A far more rare model from Martin, the 0-18K is a 12-fret small body design, made special by the solid Hawaiian Koa for the top, back and sides. A response to the Hawaiian music fad of the 20's, Martin simply used the 0-18 style and replaced the spruce and mahogany tonewoods with imported Koa. This example is in great condition with normal wear for a guitar of this age, with a nice warm sound, Koa known to be similar to mahogany but with more presence and highs. This example had had neck reset, bridge reglued and mismatched bridge pins. Serial #30962, comes with the original case. The case handle is frayed and not fully attached.
