One of the great models of its time, the 00-17 is known for its compact body size but forceful and loud midrange response thanks to the all mahogany construction. This particular one is a great player and as many of these vintage Martins go, is loud and dry sounding, perfect for recording or to inspire.
This example has a soft V neck profile that measures .910"/1st and 1.08"/12th. It has had a neck reset, replaced tuners and the bridge has been reglued. The saddle height is a bit on the lower side but the action is right where it should be. Serial #95231, comes with a non original case.
