What is more special than a early 50's Martin D-18? This one just got in and is in great shape going on 70+ years. It has that great post-war Martin sound, with the '50s bracing not quite as delicate as the pre-war design and certainly not as thick as the '60s and '70s style. The result is a very usable and recordable D-18 sound, aged to perfection.
This guitar has had a refret, replaced nut, neck reset, strap button installed, 3 top cracks repaired and cleated, and replaced bridge pins. The original bridge has been reglued with a replaced saddle. Serial #129476, comes with the original case.
