An early fifties Gibson acoustic is a joy to get to play, and these smaller-bodied LG models show why. This '53 LG-1 has a great sound, it has that mahogany and maple snap to it, great for blues style and singer-songwriter style. The ladder braced LG-1 is a nice, uncomplicated acoustic tone that won’t overpower any mix, great for recording.
This guitar had a professional neck reset and plays well with a low action. Factory Order Number (FON) is Y4419_12. Comes with its original vintage chipboard case as well as a newer, simple hardshell case.
