For any early post-CBS era Strat, the first thing to look for is a lightweight, already broken in one with a perfect played in feel. This one has it, with a unique 3 tone sunburst. It plays beautifully with a gorgeous neck shape that is so easy to play and retains the original 3-way switch.
This example is mostly original with a refret, replaced nut and a resoldered ground wire. The legible pot codes are dated the 10th week of 1966. The neck has a neck date of May 1966 with two '66 pickups and one '64 bridge pickup date. Serial #160759, comes with the original case and trem arm.
