Martin 1957 D-18 #153205
Another very special vintage dreadnought! This 1957 Martin D-18 is in great shape and is a spectacular acoustic guitar. Prefect for country and bluegrass players, the D-18 is known for being loud and proud, cutting through band mixes and offering that classic Martin tone to players that want a large body guitar. This example from 1957 is no exception, and here at the shop we are so grateful to have this instrument!
As with all vintage instruments that come through our shop, this guitar has been inspected and set up by our expert technicians. Most vintage acoustic guitars of this age need a neck reset, and this guitar recently had one done. Now, with a perfect neck angle and a great refret, this is guitar playing great - plus there is plenty of saddle left to make future adjustments if necessary. The bridge pins have been replaced as well. Otherwise, this guitar is all original condition.Â
This 50s D-18 is in great shape and plays like a dream. If you're a fan of vintage dreads, this one is just what you've been looking for. Come on by and check it out today!
