1990's PRS guitars are highly regarded in the history of the venerable company, and this 1993 Artist Series II is a prime example of why they carry that reputation. With a gorgeous figured curly maple top, 1-piece mahogany body and neck, gold hardware and maple binding on the fingerboard and headstock. This guitar is comfortable, fast playing, and incredibly resonant. The guitar has a nice slinky 25" scale, which feels right at home on the 22 fret "Wide-Fat" Artist Series neck that feels fast and smooth that just begs to be played.
The pickups are the well regarded "Artist Series", which are slightly underwound for a vintage feel that fits into any situation from blues, R&B and jazz all the way to 80's metal. The body is extremely comfortable, and is in great condition, as well as the neck. There is some aging on the gold hardware and some spots where the finish has come off, as well as some light swirl marks on the body and neck from normal use.
