Harmony Guitars, one of the single most prolific guitar manufacturers of all time, made a staggering number of instruments throughout the mid 20th century; between 1945 and 1977 they were estimated to have made close to 10 million guitars alone. So it's no surprise that in almost every attic, basement, or closet in any American home built in the 1950's, a Harmony guitar has been found languishing in the dust. These ubiquitous instruments are often in disrepair, disguising their nature as genuinely good instruments once given a little spruce up.

This incredibly clean H954, however, is absolutely a shining example of how good these guitars can look and sound if they're cared for. The Broadway, one of the higher end guitars of the Harmony archtop line, sports an all solid birch body with a gorgeous two-tone sunburst that's got a great dry, vintage sound, and is bound in a herringbone style design.

The neck is a larger 50's feel with a slight V shape, a 1 3/4 nut with a with a good looking rosewood fretboard inlayed with white dots. The bass of the bridge is original, but the saddle has been replaced with a new rosewood one. This guitar is in great condition for its age. This guitar comes with a period case, most likely original.
