Eko was founded in Italy in 1959, and was known for their eccentric designs, reflecting the designs of the time, often angular, car-ish designs.
This Eko Rokes bass is extremely rare, unusually painted in a white finish, rare for this particular model. This bass is in great condition, with all parts original, including the incredibly deep sounding single coil pickup, complete with a primitive built in boost switch.
This bass has a narrow neck, and a medium, 30 inch scale, with 60's small button tuners. It's got a great, thuddy sound similar to a Gibson EB-0. The pickup came from the factory either as this single coil or a DeArmond humbucker.
Serial #362584 comes with the original hard shell case.
