"SR500PB is one of the special models within the standard SR range. Basses found in this series are budget-friendly variants of the basses seen in the SR Prestige and SR Premium series. The SR500PB is a solid, double-cut instrument with bolt-on neck joint and four-string construction. It also has 34" scale, black chrome hardware and satin finish. Body of this model is made of mahogany back with poplar top, which is the most prominent feature of this model. Flat Brown Burst is the only color scheme assigned to this model, as it enhances the beauty of the decorative poplar top. Four-saddled hardtail bridge on the top is fronted with a pair of soapbar pickups. Jatoba and bubinga neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard."
