A fifties Gibson acoustic is a joy to play, and these smaller-bodied LG bodies show why. This '59 LG-1 has a great sound, it has that mahogany and maple snap to it, great for blues style and singer-songwriter style. The ladder braced LG-1 is a nice, uncomplicated acoustic tone that won’t overpower any mix, great for recording. This particular one plays well with a low action.

This guitar has had a neck and bridge reset. Some bracing was reglued, and a new pickguard was installed.
