A new series from Taylor, this guitar features old-school looks with a different V-class inspired bracing, paired with a variation of the Super Auditorium sized body, with Torrrefied spruce top and rosewood back and sides.
From Taylor Guitar’s Website: "With its golden-brown sunburst top and heritage-inspired design, the Gold Label 714e SB offers a rich blend of bold visuals and expressive acoustic tone. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top in a Super Auditorium body, which is slightly longer and has a wider lower bout than our signature Grand Auditorium. This model serves up an open, expansive sound marked by deep lows, rich trebles, blooming overtones and played-in character right out of the box. Fanned V-Class™ bracing contributes to an exceptionally warm, resonant, powerful sound. A slender long-tenon Action Control Neck™ provides a hand-friendly playing experience while enabling on-the-fly string-height adjustments. Design elements exclusive to the Gold Label Collection include a distinctive pickguard shape and a modified headstock with an angled-back cut and script-style Taylor logo. Visual details include a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with Indian rosewood bridge pins, along with a firestripe pickguard, cream-colored rosette, binding and matching Crest fretboard inlays—all set against a full-body gloss finish. Outfitted with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and Taylor nickel tuners, the Gold Label 714e SB ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case with a British Cocoa exterior."
