Gibson 1956 Country Western
The brother of the Southern Jumbo model, this natural finished dreadnought by Gibson followed the J-45 specs but with upgraded appointments. It has a remarkable sound to it, very dry sounding and with killer projection. It is certainly one of the more worn in vintage flattops we have in right now, but it is also one of the best sounding.Â
This guitar has a large C neck profile that measures .901"/1st and 1.007"/9th. This example has had a neck reset, side and back cracks repaired and reglued bridge and replaced bridge pins. Serial #V5145_81, comes with a non original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument.
