This 1978 Ibanez FA510 is a great guitar and excellent vintage archtop, indicative of the just post 'lawsuit' era of Japanese guitar production: meant to emulate a Gibson L5 of the era (such as a Wes Montgomery model), this guitar features a laminated spruce top, curly maple back and sides, a maple neck with a 20 fret ebony fretboard, and an Ibanez super 70 mini-humbucker floating in the neck position.
A truly great player, only in production for two years in the FujiGen factory, this guitar is great for the jazz player who wants to get a vintage archtop at a truly great price.
