A rarity and a joy to see, early ES-175's in blonde are elegant and tasteful. Far more rare than their sunburst counterpart, these models are an amazing experience to play. The original PAF pickups are often pilfered for a Les Paul build, so its great to see an original set in this example, they capture the fully hollow sound of these 175's perfectly. This exceptional guitar also features a rare factory stinger on the neck heel, a rare sight and only ever found on natural finished guitars. With a distinctive '60 neck profile, it is comfy in any players hands, a bit slimmer than a '59 example and not nearly as much as '61 example. One of only 116 blonde models shipped in 1960, it remains a rare bird indeed. Pot codes are dated the 32nd week of 1960. The original PAF's have had the covers removed at a previous point and replaced. The bridge pickup was taken out and reinstalled at some point as well. However the two PAF pickups have been thoroughly inspected and deemed to be original to the guitar. This guitar has replaced knobs but besides that remains all original, cosmetically it is in excellent shape with no major dings or wear besides the light playwear shown in the provided photos.
