A well-known model, this '64 6119 model is a fully hollow but closed design, with added painted f-holes intended to cut back on feedback. The original Hi-Lo'Tron pickups are every bit Gretsch and this is a great player that totally has that vintage Gretsch rockabilly twang. This guitar remains in great shape with some changes over the years with a replaced nut, tuners, refret and rewiring and a replacement Gibson ABR-1 bridge. The plastic silver PU surrounds are replaced (original in case), comes with the original wide bar bridge (base is missing). This guitar comes with the original case, serial #67743.
