Rudy spec'd this guitar out personally with the Fender Custom Shop to recreate the glory of the original 1962 Jazzmaster, as well as a whole series of the vintage Fender guitars we know and love. His aim was to combine modern playability with vintage vibe, and to recreate these guitars in almost exactly the same fashion as they would have left the factory in their original production year.

Continuing our love affair with offsets, this is our perfect world Jazzmaster. Finished in a Custom Color (Sonic Blue) with a matching headstock, it's meant to be a fusion of vintage style/sound with modern accessibility.

- Vintage style Jazzmaster tremolo (Gold)

- '60s style Custom Shop hand-wound Jazzmaster pickups.

The neck is an extremely comfortable "C" shape.

Fans of vintage Fenders might notice one thing: the stark white maple neck, which we're used to seeing in it's aged amber form, but we've had this guitar recreated here as if you've just bought a new Fender for the first time in 1962, brand new to you. Imagine what it must have been like taking home your brand new Fender Jazzmaster  for the first time in the 1960s, having no idea what to expect. That's the feeling we're trying to capture.

Serial #R134154 comes with a Fender Custom Shop tolex hardshell case.
