Perhaps one of the boldest 70's designs by Gibson Norlin era, the L6-S is an interesting model. Featuring all maple construction, this model was released in 1973 making this a first year production model. Designed by Bill Lawrence, it in unique in its rotary switch, which controls different pickup option, like out of phase options and series/parallel options as well. It also is unique for the 24 fret neck allowing for ultimate higher register options. The pot codes are dated the 41st week of 1973, this example has light finish touch up on the bass side of the 7th fret. Serial #121551, comes with a gig bag.
