ABOUT THE INSTRUMENT 

The H13 is considered by SCGC to be a "small jumbo", providing players all the comfort of a small-body instrument with all the power and bass response you'd get out of a much larger one. Although this guitar looks to be about the size of your standard 00, the deep body profile gives this guitar excellent low-end response. For this instrument, we paired a Sitka Spruce top with a Mahogany back and sides, a truly timeless combination. The top has a lovely "Teardrop" sunburst finish, which looks great with the Ivoroid binding and intricate purfling.

To achieve the optimal bridge placement, the neck on this guitar joins the body at the 13th fret. This unique innovation makes this guitar sound and feel unlike anything else in the shop. Scalloped bracing also contributes to this guitar's powerful voice. In addition to these unique specs, this guitar is equipped with an Ebony pyramid bridge, a slotted peghead and a soft "V" neck profile - just to name a few of the vintage inspired appointments that make this guitar so great. This guitar comes with the original hardshell case.
