Fender 1966 Mustang, Dakota Red #156428
A great mid-60s Mustang! In stunning Dakota red, this 1966 Fender Mustang is sounding great and playing very well too. Other than a replaced nut and string tree, this guitar is all original!
The Mustang was initially released in 1964 as a student model. With a comfortable medium Fender scale length and 22 frets, the Mustang has found favor among players across just about every genre. This Mustang's single coil pickups offer classic Fender clean tones and handle gain very well too. The dual pickup selector switches provide access to both in and out of phase tonal options, opening up a wide range of sounds to players right onboard the guitar. The original vibrato system works great and the original bar is included.
Whether you love Kurt Cobain's famous Mustang-fueled riffs or just crave that classic Fender tone from the 60s, this Mustang can do it all!
Original hardshell case included with purchase.
