One of the last years of Martin using Brazilian rosewood on their back and sides, this D-28 was made just right. The unmistakable look and feel of Brazilian rosewood translates to a unmatched sound, and this guitar has got that. Perfect for so many styles of playing, the D-28 has been found of countless recordings, and this one has had the right kind of work to keep it going and ready for many more years of playing. This example had had two repaired back cracks with cleats, neck reset, replaced nut, refret, K&K pickup install, replaced bridge, and the saddle slot has been plugged and rerouted further back to help with intonation. Cosmetically its in great condition with a superb sound and very comfy action. Serial #226572, comes with the original case.
