This Grand Auditorium features back and sides of solid Honduran rosewood, a dense, hard wood that yields stunning harmonic texture with warm lows, piano-like trebles and a smooth attack. We've selected sinker redwood for the top, a wood sourced from old-growth logs submerged in Northern California riverbeds. Redwood's warmth and touch sensitivity are comparable to cedar, but with a higher volume ceiling and an enhanced dynamic range. With our V-Class bracing inside, the result is a high-fidelity sound complemented by lush overtones and remarkable pitch precision. Comfort-enhancing features include a beveled armrest and cutaway, chamfered body edges, and a smooth Curve Wing bridge, yielding a truly seamless feel.
