Built at the intersection of playing comfort, balanced tone and affordability for a wide array of musicians, a trio of new acoustic-electric guitars crafted with layered sapele adds visual and tonal variety to the venerable 100 Series lineup. This limited release includes the Grand Concert 112ce, featuring layered sapele back and sides paired with solid Sitka spruce tops. Players will notice a punchy, clear response, with the solid spruce top yielding plenty of volume for practice sessions, songwriting and a range of other applications. Visually, the layered sapele offers a pleasing visual alternative to the walnut backs and sides of other 100 Series models. Venetian cutaways also differentiate this from the rest of the 100 Series family, providing easy access to the higher register for players looking to navigate the entire fretboard. Likewise, the slightly narrower nut yields a more relaxed fretting feel for players learning their first notes and chords.
