Rudy fell in love with this absolutely stunning guitar some years ago at the Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase and has wanted one ever since. We waited over 2 years for this one to be ready from the time we ordered it... and boy, was it worth the wait! The first striking thing about this guitar is, of course, the milky-white finish highlighted with Mother of Pearl inlays throughout. The real draw, though, is the tone: pairing two hardwoods of Adirondack spruce and curly maple produce the most amazing, huge sound from this relatively small body. It handles like butter, too. A beauty to behold, to hear and to play, the Bourgeois Whyte Rabbit is a very special instrument that doesn't come around often. It would be the perfect addition to any guitar player or art enthusiast's collection. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
(We included a lot of photos in two different kinds of lighting; it's tough to photograph this guitar in a way that shows off the gorgeous wood grains below the finish without getting a glare or reflection.)

From the Bourgeois website:
"Several years ago Natalie Maines, of The Dixie Chicks, asked us to build her a white guitar. Unable to bear the thought of covering up wood grain, we ended up using a transparent white tint. Solid Mother of Pearl fretboard markers and tuner buttons ensure that this beauty won’t go unnoticed—even from the last row of the concert arena.
The L-DBO is larger than a 00, slightly smaller than the 000/OM, and designed with a 25” scale neck. It’s relatively narrow upper bout imparts a distinctive wedge-shaped appearance, setting it apart from the 0/00/000 “gene pool”. As significantly, the L-DBO conceals two secret weapons: An unusually large soundhole for its size, and narrow, 1/4” top bracing which combine to produce unusual power and presence in such a small package."
