Bryant Trenier is an extremely artful archtop builder who is a long-time friend of Rudy's from his origins in New York. He moved to the small town of Uzes in the south of France some years ago, where he continues his luthiery tradition. He mostly builds custom archtops, with a base price of $10,000. Bryant beautifully blends the old and the new; his guitars are at first glance modern, but a closer look reveals stunning art deco-inspired details.
This particular guitar is one of four Rosine models that Bryant crafted; he tends to make instruments in limited series, slightly evolving the design as he builds each one. This was the final one from the series to be made. To build another one of these today would cost $20,000 (although Bryant says he has already "closed the circle" on the Rosine series).
The Trenier Rosine, bearing serial #1089, is a 17" archtop. The guitar is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches, save for one tiny mark in the back of the neck. It comes with its original Cedar Creek hardshell case.
