This Silvertone Thin Twin Model 1381 was made in the 1950s and is is great shape for its age. The electronics are fully functional and have the signature Silvertone single coil sound.
The neck, like many 50's guitars, is an extremely large "C" shape, almost completely filling the hand, but is surprisingly comfortable along with the 1 3/4 nut. The frets are original and totally playable, despite being low and played in. The wooden bridge gives this guitar a lovely vintage punch that's incredibly warm and present.
The finish is faded, giving it almost a Honeyburst-like appearance. This guitar has been thoroughly checked over and fully set up by our in-house luthiers and is ready to take up all of your time! This guitar comes with a non-original Eastman Hardshell Case.
