Another awesome guitar from the amazing team over at Santa Cruz Guitars. This 1996 Finger Style (FS) model is a great example of boutique building at its best, offering something you just can't find in most standard lineups.
MINIMUM CONTACT, MAXIMUM OUTPUT
Designed by Santa Cruz, the FS model was made to meet the needs of modern players who have a lighter touch or prefer an alternate tuning. This guitar has a very comfortable body size and shape, perfect for players who want unencumbered access to the entire neck, further assisted by a generous cutaway. This instrument provides the rich harmonics, sustain and a balanced response that intricate finger-style playing demands. This guitar was meticulously designed to transfer the most energy from even the most subtle of playing styles.
This example from 1996 is in excellent shape. It is set up nicely and plays very well. It is very lightweight and it sounds wonderful. More specs are listed below.
