Fender 1959 Jazzmaster Olympic White (Refinished)
This is an incredible 1959 Fender Jazzmaster, that has been restored and refinished to near original quality in a gorgeous Olympic White. Minus the circuit select switch and the finish, this guitar is in near original condition and plays and sounds fantastic. The original late 50's Jazzmaster pickups are clear, vocal, and have a great spank to them that only Jazzmasters can get.
This particular guitar has an alder body, a maple neck, a lovely chocolatey Brazilian rosewood slab board, and an incredible refinish in Olympic White, complete with checking, sun fading, and authentic wear. The frets are in great condition, and are very playable. The neck is a comfortable C shape, and is one of the best playing vintage Fender necks we've seen. The nut has been replaced as well.
Although the original neck pencil date is long gone, Rudy himself penciled in "4/59" based on the original 4/59 pencil date on the body, along with his signature to show the addition.
Serial #29508 comes with a non-original tweed case.
