Gibson 1970 SG Custom Original White #957076

A super cool vintage SG! This 1970 SG Custom is in great shape and plays very nicely. Dressed up in a nicely aged white finish and kitted out with gold hardware, this SG Custom looks amazing. The original gold "Lyre" Vibrola system functions very well. Big block pearl inlays adorn the ebony fretboard and the headstock has the iconic Custom-style split diamond inlay. 

This example is equipped with three Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups. These pickups sound great and the electronics have been set up in a very handy way in this three pickup configuration. The three way selector switch acts the same as it would in dual pickup SG, selecting only between the neck and bridge pickup positions. The bridge tone knob acts as a master tone control, while the neck position tone knob has been wired to blend in the middle pickup. This configuration allows for every possible pickup selection and all the shades in between! 

This vintage SG Custom can do it all. Between the option to blend in the middle pickup in all positions and the Vibrola system, this guitar delivers all the classic SG tones you'd expect, with a few additional extra tricks up its sleeve. This guitar has been fully evaluated by our expert repair techs. It has had an expertly-repaired headstock break, and a refinished neck -- both of which are almost undetectable. Aside from the replaced pickups, the only other non-original element is the pickguard. Original guard included in the case.
