Combining the rich resonance of premium Honduran rosewood with the tonal versatility of Lutz spruce, this custom Grand Symphony is a visual marvel and a sonic powerhouse. Typically reserved for our Presentation Series guitars, Honduran rosewood yields a warm, sparkling tone with exceptional balance between clarity and power. A soundport carved into the partial Florentine cutaway allows for wide-angle dispersion of sound, resulting in an immersive, surround-sound experience enhanced by our V-Class bracing architecture. Aesthetic appointments include an ebony peghead veneer, backstrap, and peghead binding accented by bloodwood body and soundhole binding with matching fretboard and peghead purfling. A Lily Vine inlay with blue paua stems and mother-of-pearl lilies offers a pleasing complement to the paua/ebony rosette with sleek black and white purfling. Other details include black and white top edge trim and dark-stained bone bridge pins. This model is dressed in a full-body gloss finish with a subtle shaded edgeburst for the neck, sides and four-piece Simons wedge back. Equipped with ES2 electronics and an onboard TaylorSense unit, this custom Grand Symphony ships in a brown deluxe hardshell case.
