For 50's Gibson's, this ES-345 really has it all. One of the cleanest examples we've ever seen, this 1959 year model has got the goods. Super clean but also a great playing axe, this early ES-345 was made in much smaller production numbers than its ES-335 counterpart. The upgraded gold hardware, varitone circuit and parallelogram inlays offered players a more refined and deluxe playing experience.
The original gold finish is going strong, and the original gold plated PAF's look great. It features a soft V neck profile and a 1 21/32" nut width, showing the slight variances of the ES series in the early years. This example has had the pickup covers removed/reinstalled and the area under the bridge pickup surrounding the choke has been filled with wax, possibly done at the factory or soon thereafter. Serial #A30277, come with the original case.
