This 1955 Gibson Les Paul Junior is about as cool as it gets. Introduced in 1954, the Junior was intended to be a student model in comparison to the much gaudier, much more appointed Standard and Custom models, with a single slab mahogany body, no binding, and a single P90 pickup. Since the advent of rock and roll, these understated little monsters quickly made a name for themselves as clear, articulate, blazing rock machines, with a surprising amount of versatility for a single pickup guitar.

This particular example has the original sunburst finish, with a decent amount of earned wear; knocks on the body on the treble side, finish missing from the back of the neck, and a decent amount of well earned dents and scratches, although these all serve to heighten the aura of an instrument used to play loud and hard for years.

The bridge has been replaced, and the guitar has been refretted, along with a singular repair on the treble bridge post to fix some cracked/missing wood, but other than that this guitar is original and has stood the test of time.

-No breaks!

-Treble bridge post area has been repaired

-Tuner knobs are replaced. Originals come with the guitar
