Here's one for the books! Built in very limited numbers, the Super 400 was the most high end and deluxe appointment archtop guitar Gibson made at the time. A whopping 18" lower bout, this model was meant for the most serious player. Carved spruce top, solid maple back/sides & parallel braced, the Super 400 is all about filling a room. This particular example is a bit different, setup with flatwounds and equipped with a Dearmond Rhythm Chief pickup. Regardless, it has a lovely acoustic quality. It is in remarkable condition with no cracks or repairs. It is mostly original minus a replaced bridge and a rebound pickguard. Serial #A5515, comes with the original case. Weighs 7lbs.
