Here, ladies and gentleman, is a pinnacle of music history. This 1964 Gibson ES-345 was owned and played by Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist and Rock and Roll legend Ed King.
This guitar is in incredible condition, almost like new- having been cared for exquisitely both by Ed, his wife, and its previous owners. This guitar is all original except the tuners, with barely any marks on it at all, save a few little flakes of finish here and there. The hardware is worn, but is still entirely functional.
The electronics are all original, as well as the incredible original patent-sticker humbuckers.
This guitar comes with photos of both Ed holding the guitar, as well as a letter of authenticity and a letter signed by Ed's wife.
The original bill of sale to Ed is also included. This guitar is an extremely rare find, and would be an incredible addition to anyone's collection.
