Description

This beautiful Super 400 was considered top of the line when it was built in 1948, and still holds the crown to this day with its resonant spruce top, spectacular figured maple back and sides, rare Ted McCarty-designed Gibson "Finger Rest" double pickup/pickguard, and gold hardware. This guitar is mostly original, the bridge pickup has been rewound and it has been refretted. The mini output jack has been replaced with a full size jack and a hole has been drilled on the side to accommodate the new output jack.
