We are super excited to announce the Jon Gordon Guitar Collection, offering more than a dozen different pieces in collaboration with Gordon’s estate following his passing early this year. We welcome you to view this wonderful collection and own a piece of rock n roll history!
Gordon was a celebrated NYC session guitarist and multi-instrument virtuoso whose career spanned collaborations with icons like Suzanne Vega, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, and Patti Scialfa. A founding member of the rock band Tycoon, and once invited to join Steely Dan, Jon became known for his killer guitar solo on Suzanne Vega’s hit “Luka” and his work on “Marlene on the Wall” and “Left of Center.” Gordon performed throughout legendary NYC venues, toured nationally with acts ranging from Minnie Pearl’s Grand Ole Opry to Mary Travers, and later founded Jon Gordon Music Production, where his compositions appeared on major shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Show with David Letterman. After relocating his studio to Beacon during the pandemic, he continued creating and performing until his passing in May 2025.
