Washburn USA Custom Shop 2004, Dimebag Darrell Union Jack

Boogie Street Guitars developed a unique relationship with Washburn, working closely with the company on special-edition and artist-inspired instruments, including guitars associated with Dimebag Darrell and the world of heavy metal.

Boogie Street became particularly known for its involvement with limited and highly customized Washburn instruments. Through these collaborations, guitars could receive specifications and finishes that went beyond Washburn’s standard production models, making certain Boogie Street instruments exceptionally rare.

This particular guitar has an especially interesting connection to that history. It is a one-of-one Washburn/Boogie Street instrument featuring a custom Union Jack finish, completed by Chewy, the artist responsible for the distinctive custom finish on this guitar. The combination of the Washburn/Boogie Street connection, its association with the Dimebag-era custom-guitar world, and Chewy’s hand-finished artwork makes this instrument a unique piece rather than a conventional production Washburn.
