We love Jag's here, the underdog in the Fender lineup. Intended to be their flagship model, it never really took off besides its use in surf rock. Later grunge and alt rock players rediscovered the offsets from Fender, and today more and more people give them the attention they deserve. This Jag is from '66 and features a bunch of transitional specs like a bound neck but dot inlay. The burst finish is more yellow that pre-CBS ones, but still all nitro lacquer which has worn in great.
This example is in all original condition, with neck dated April 1966 and pot codes dated 31st and 48th week of 1965. Serial #169056, comes with the original, trem and bridge cover. Weighs 9lbs. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details and repairs & changes of note.
