The Epiphone Sheraton was one of the high end models made for Epiphone by Gibson in the 1960s, with the construction of these "lower end models" generally being on par with the quality of their more famous Kalamazoo relatives. The Sheraton shares many of its qualities with its cousins, most notably the ES-355; the body, binding, construction and general design are almost note for note.

This particular example is in a glorious 3-Tone Sunburst, with all of the hardware, finish, frets, and even the Tremotone Vibrola (with its inlaid block of Brazilian rosewood) being in near perfect condition. The mini-humbuckers are incredibly clean and sound glorious, with sustain that lasts forever.

This guitars has the later Gibson narrower nut width of 1 9/16".

Serial #409186 comes with the original hard case, which is also in incredible condition.
