Built briefly at the tailend of the '60s, the Tele Thinline was a response to make Tele's a bit lighter and add to the semi-hollowbody arsenal. This '71 guitar has probably been in many a smoky bar or venue in its life, with a dark ambered color to the body and headstock face. The neck is dated April but the year is worn off but the serial and specs indicate this to be a 1971 year. This example has replaced electronics and pickups. The pickups do not have clear markings on the maker but sounds great. The control knobs are replaced with different tuners previously installed and removed with the originals back on it now. Serial #319569, comes with the original case.
