Gibson 1959 ES-5 Switchmaster, Blonde

The Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster. The 17” wide body and 25.5” scale length is similar to the Gibson L5. The cutting edge three pickup design and 4 position switch made the ES-5 the ultimate electric guitar in function and form.  This particular guitar has 3 unmolested original 1959 PAF humbucker pickups. These are considered the "Holy Grail of pickups. The body is a gorgeous flame maple and this guitar is capped off with the classic "Stinger" on the back of the headstock. Includes the original hardshell case.

Notes from our tech. "Although the body was drilled for the trapeze tailpiece,the original owner purchased this new with the Bigsby installed. This guitar was likely altered at the factory to accommodate the dealers request."
