Another sweet guitar model that never was but should have been, this '59 ES-330 reissue is upgraded with a Antique White VOS finish and Bigsby. It has a beefy neck profile, not for the faint of heart. If you like large neck profiles, which we know some of you do, this is the one for you.

From Gibson Custom: "The 1959 ES 330™ Reissue with Bigsby®, VOS, in Antique White is a standout addition to Gibson Custom’s Limited Edition Collection, a series shaped by years of Made to Measure special orders and the collective creativity of the artisans at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. This model revives one of the most characterful and lightweight ES™ designs from the first Gibson Golden Age, bringing its unmistakable voice, responsiveness, and playing feel into the modern era with unwavering historical accuracy.

Crafted from layered maple, poplar, and maple, the fully hollow thinline body captures the lively, open resonance that made the original ES-330 so coveted among players who value touch sensitivity and acoustic presence. With no centerblock, the instrument delivers remarkable air and immediacy, translating dynamics with exceptional nuance. The single ply binding on the top and back, paired with the VOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Antique White, gives the guitar a refined aesthetic that honors its 1959 inspiration while offering a beautifully understated visual identity.

The one-piece mahogany neck features the highly regarded Authentic 1959 profile, a full and inviting carve known for its comfort and stability. A long neck tenon enhances structural integrity and tonal transfer, while the rosewood fretboard provides warmth and smooth attack. Dot inlays, single ply binding, a 12 inch radius, reissue medium jumbo frets, and a 24.75 inch scale come together to create a period correct playing surface that looks and feels instantly familiar and expressive.

Powered by a pair of P-90 pickups, the 1959 ES-330 Reissue with Bigsby delivers the articulate, harmonically rich voice that defined countless recordings across genres. The combination of the hollow body design and P 90 pickups delivers sparkling clarity, chime, and a beautifully textured midrange that excels at both clean and driven tones. The traditional layout of two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way toggle provides versatile tonal shaping options for players who rely on dynamics, touch, and nuance.

The hardware selection remains true to vintage form: an ABR 1 Tune O Matic™ bridge, a Bigsby B7 Vibrato tailpiece for expressive pitch modulation, Kluson® Deluxe tuners, nickel-finished metal components, black plastics, and classic gold Top Hat knobs. Black Dogear pickup covers visually anchor the guitar’s understated elegance, further tying it to the mid-century originals that inspired it. Each instrument includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a Lifton™ reissue hardshell case."
