A very cool player-grade Fender Jazz Bass from 1966. Even with tons of wear in the finish, the bass is in great condition. All original except for the pickups, which were changed to Seymour Duncan Antiquity II. Structurally, everything is perfect. The last owner of this bass was a lefty so he had it strung for lefty playing and had slightly modified it by adding fret markers on the other side of the fretboard, and installing a strap button on the other horn (now removed; hole is visible). The pickup cover and thumb rest were also removed at some point and did not come with the bass. True to basses from this era, the bass has a narrower nut than those of the earlier Fender Jazz basses. Plays beautifully.
Serial #170165. Comes with its original hardshell case. All latches work perfectly.
