Sergei De Jonge is a Canadian luthier, known for his imaginative and modern takes on the traditional classical guitar designs. Along with his daughter, who runs a separate company, Sergei has been building consistently since the mid 1990's, and has made a splash both here at Rudy's with his incredible instruments, but in the world of classical guitars as well.
This particular guitar is an interesting specimen, with a large cutaway that allows for more access and precision. The top is an amazing piece of alpine spruce, and the Indian rosewood back and sides are punchy, warm, and detailed. This guitar has a 49mm nut, and a 25.5" scale length, and comes installed with K&K style transducer pickup. This guitar comes with the original hard shell case.
