Here we have a fine specimen from the Catch series of the Taylor Custom Shop. Available in limited runs per model these one off designs feature premium tonewood and specs not seen on standard run Taylor guitars.

Specs of this specific model include a compact Grand-Concert shape, Port Orford Cedar top and Ribbon Mahogany back and sides, Gotoh 510 Antique Gold tuners, Ghost Diamond inlay on the fingerboard, Dark Stain Bone bridge pins, Taylor-made 'Claria' electronics, and a deluxe hardcase.

From Taylor: "Designed to showcase the natural beauty of its tonewoods, this custom Gold Label model features a refined aesthetic that ensures its captivating acoustic tone remains the main attraction. We’ve paired ribbon mahogany back and sides with a Port Orford cedar top in a Grand Concert body that has been reimagined with extra depth at the soundhole for a deeper resonant frequency and greater low-end expansiveness. Applied with traditional hot hide glue, our fanned V-Class bracing contributes to a voice that’s warm, clear and balanced with a dry, woody character. Exceptionally responsive to the softest touch, this custom build boasts exceptional dynamic range, maintaining remarkable clarity when you dig in. Innovative design elements include our new Action Control Neck with a long-tenon joint, further enhancing overall resonance while also allowing for easy string height adjustments. A suite of bloodwood and mother-of-pearl visual details includes Ghost Diamond fretboard inlays, a Solitaire peghead inlay, a Fishbone rosette, bloodwood binding and a matching back strip."
