Martin DSS-16E, 1935 Burst

The dreadnought guitar shape was invented and introduced by Martin Guitar in 1916, and its first iteration was a 12-fret, slope-shouldered model. Martin has just released several brand new models that harken back to that original design, now modernized with 14 frets clear of the body, a shorter scale length and on-board electronics. These new vintage-style dreads are incredibly playable with the stock .013/medium gauge strings. We're loving the new DSS Martins!
